¹³ Jesus had spoken of his death. But they thought that He was speaking of getting rest through sleep.

¹⁴ So then Jesus plainly told them, “Lazarus is dead. ¹⁵ And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.”
